Submission Guidelines
MET SRUJAN Submission Guidelines
Welcome Note:
MET SRUJAN invites original papers from both academics and practitioners on management. Submissions should be based on theoretical/empirical research and experience, maintaining high-quality research standards. Papers should reflect practical applicability and policy implications, covering a wide range of topics relevant to various industries, management functions, and geographic locations. Ideas should be well-analyzed and actionable for real-world business testing.
Manuscript Submission Guidelines:
- Format Requirements:
1) Manuscripts should be in MS-Word format. Use 1-inch margins, “Times New Roman, Font Size 12, black”.
2) Two or more referees review all contributions using a double-blind system, ensuring anonymity. The review process takes three weeks, and the status will be communicated after this period. A valid email address must be provided, and an article ID will be issued to the corresponding author. This ID must be cited in any subsequent correspondence.
3) On the cover page, provide full names (first, middle, and last names), full addresses (including institute's address, designation, and correspondence address), and email addresses of the authors. Do not include author names or affiliations elsewhere in the manuscript to ensure the blind review process.
4) The actual paper should start from the second page with the title, followed by the abstract, keywords, and the main text. The author's name should only appear on the cover page.
5) Manuscripts should not exceed 5000 words and must mention the time period of the research.
6) The abstract should be a maximum of 300 words, describing the work and highlighting its significance. Avoid abbreviations and references in the abstract.
7) Label each manuscript as one of the following: Research Paper, Review, Case Study, or Book Review.
- A Research Paper
- A Review
- A Case Study
- A Book Review
8) Tables should be numbered consecutively with titles placed above and sources indicated at the bottom. Use real tables with rows, columns, and cells.
9) Figures should be numbered consecutively with relevant titles and sources indicated at the bottom.
10) All tables, charts, graphs, and diagrams should be in black and white, with high resolution. Number and complexity should be minimal. Charts and graphs should be legible, with figures indicated in millions and billions.
11) References should be at the end of the paper, cited within the text, and strictly in APA style.
12) Displayed formulae and mathematical equations should be numbered serially and typewritten.
13) Minimize the use of footnotes, italics, and quotation marks.
14) Primary headings should be in uppercase and bold, sub-headings in title-case capitalization and bold.
15) Manuscripts not accepted for publication will not be returned. Contributors will be informed by email only, so a valid email address is mandatory.
16) Submissions must be in MS-Word and PDF formats. No hard copies will be accepted. There is no charge for blind review.
17) Authors needing assistance should contact the Chief Editor, Dr. Swati Lodha at director_iom@met.edu and Editor, Dr. Nirmala Joshi at research@met.edu.
Referencing:
References and citations should be complete and in APA style to allow readers to locate source materials and ensure the paper is well-researched. References should be alphabetically arranged, with page numbers for books and journals, and access dates for web references. Ensure uniformity in references, e.g., use p.14 for single pages and pp.14-38 for multiple pages.
Refer to the following links for APA style referencing:
